A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Toyota Starlet, second generation on the 60 series, 1978 to 1984. Part number SB283.

The KP60 is rear wheel drive

Which is the whole point and the thing to check. Later Starlets went front wheel drive and are a completely different proposition. The KP60 is a tiny, light, rear drive hatchback and it has a serious following in historic rallying and grassroots drift, particularly in Ireland.

They are also increasingly used as a base for engine swaps, because the shell is so light that almost anything makes them quick.

Weight is the entire argument

A KP60 weighs very little. A heavy steel framed shell is a meaningful proportion of the car and it sits high and to one side. Ask us about the lighter GRP and composite options and take that conversation seriously.
