The J40 is the one that made the name

Toyota built the 40 Series for twenty four years and it is the vehicle that established the Land Cruiser reputation worldwide, particularly in Africa and Australia where they were often the only thing that would keep working.

Values have gone somewhere nobody expected. A properly restored J40 now commands serious money, and the restomod market for them is substantial.

Which changes the approach entirely

This is a vehicle where the installation needs to be reversible and documented. The bracket picks up the factory mounting points so nothing is cut. Store the original seats and every fixing somewhere dry and label them.

What suits it
