The American Fusion of these years is the car Ford sold here as the Mondeo Mk5. They are closely related, though Ford varied specification between markets and the seat area is exactly the sort of thing that differs.

There is also a small Ford Fusion sold in Europe in the mid 2000s, which is an entirely different car and nothing to do with this listing.

The Sport

Ford put a 2.7 twin turbo V6 in the Fusion Sport with around 325 horsepower and all wheel drive, which almost nobody expected and which is the version worth building.

Be realistic otherwise

Most of these are comfortable family saloons. If yours is one and the seat has simply given up, ask us about padded or reclining options rather than a racing shell.
