A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Chevrolet HHR, 2006 to 2011. Part number SB325.

The HHR is the retro styled estate built on the same platform as the Chevrolet Cobalt, which takes SB225.

The HHR SS is the reason

General Motors put the turbocharged 2.0 Ecotec into it, with a limited slip differential and a proper manual gearbox, which made a retro shaped estate genuinely quick. It is one of the more unlikely performance cars of the period and it has a devoted following because of it.

The SS shares its running gear with the Cobalt SS, so if you are hunting mechanical parts, that is where to look.

What the shape gives you

Unusually for a car we make brackets for, the HHR is tall and boxy inside with genuinely good headroom. That is a real advantage: shell choice is less constrained than in a low coupe and a taller driver has options.

Side airbags are fitted. Handed, so order twice for a pair.

Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
