A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Nissan 240Z. Part number SB138-1.

Send us the registration or the chassis number before you order. The S30 ran from 1969 to 1978 as the 240Z, 260Z and 280Z, and Datsun changed the rear seat mounting partway through, which is why the later cars split by flat or angled rear tabs.

The 240Z is the one

The original, the lightest, and the car that made Datsun’s name in America. Values have gone somewhere serious and a genuine early car with matching numbers is in another bracket entirely.

Which decides the approach. The bracket picks up the factory mounting points so nothing is cut. Store the original seats and every fixing somewhere dry and label them, because an interior that can be put back exactly is worth real money on one of these.

Rust is the standing issue

S30 floors and the areas round the seat mounting are notorious. Get right under the carpet and look properly before you spend anything.

Ask us about retro trimmed shells, which suit the car and the period far better than a modern carbon bucket.

We bring a batch over roughly every 3 to 5 weeks. Everything in each batch is pre-sold against a customer order, so the sooner your order is in, the sooner it ships.
