Flat rear tabs is the fitment, and you have to look
Datsun used more than one rear mounting arrangement across this period. Cars with angled rear tabs take SB145.1 instead.
You cannot tell which you have from the year, the model or the chassis number. Get the carpet back, look at the tabs the seat bolts to, and photograph them. Send us the picture and we will tell you. Five minutes now saves returning a heavy part.
What the 280Z is
The last and largest of the first generation Z cars, with fuel injection and the 2.8 engine. For years it was the cheap one because purists wanted a 240Z; that gap has closed considerably.
Floors are the Z car problem
Not a formality on one of these. Get right under the carpet and look properly, and be prepared for the answer to be metalwork before seats, because a bracket can only feed seat load into sound structure.
A period trimmed shell suits a Z far better than a modern bucket. Handed, so order twice for a pair.
