Two different cars are called Accord in these years
The North American Accord is a large saloon and coupe. The car sold here as an Accord in the same period is a different, smaller vehicle, closer to what Honda badged as the Acura TSX in the States. They do not share a floor.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
