The CR-Z is Honda’s attempt at a sporting hybrid: a two-seat coupe with a manual gearbox, which nobody else has tried before or since. It is light, it is not fast, and it has a small and committed following precisely because of that. People fit shells to them for weight and for support in club events, where being light matters more than being powerful.

Mounting

The Planted Technology bracket (18046, part SB214) at £185.50 is confirmed for the CR-Z. It has side airbag considerations; tell us the specification before removing the standard seat.
The M2 Motorsport sub-frame (97249) at £138.50 is the alternative, made to fit most side-mounted seats. It only fits with seats of the same brand as intended; using it with a different manufacturer’s seat is not guaranteed to fit correctly.
For side mount, the Sparco FIA steel brackets (13876) and Cobra steel side mounts (13891) both carry their own approval. The Cobra Premium sliding runners (120664) or Sparco sliding runner kit (14036) add fore-aft adjustment.

The Endurance Motorsport Club Sport at £209.79 and Circuit at £296.10 are accessible non-FIA options. Most of the remaining seats carry FIA 8855-1999 approval. The Cobra Suzuka T Pro-Fit at £561 is a premium option. The Cobra Monaco Pro at £235 is the accessible steel-shelled alternative.

Harnesses
