Three brands list a Mk4-specific direct-fit sub-frame: Sparco, OMP and Corbeau. The OMP frame has a useful connection worth knowing: the Ford Puma is built on the Mk4 Fiesta floor, so the same OMP part number covers both cars. If you have seen a seat working in a Puma, it carries over to the Fiesta and vice versa.

The listing notes this frame also fits the 1999-2002 facelifted Fiesta that shared the Mk4 chassis; confirm your build date with us if you are unsure.
The OMP direct-fit sub-frame (15734, part HC793-2669) at £155.40 covers the same 345mm x 271mm pattern plus the larger 405mm x 290mm OMP pattern, adding Recaro compatibility. The Ford Puma is built on the Mk4 Fiesta floor, which is why this part number is shared between the two cars. If you have seen a seat working in a Puma, it carries over here.
The Corbeau direct-fit sub-frame (14602) at £245 is the Corbeau-specific option, confirmed for the Fiesta Mk4 built 1995 to 2002. Corbeau sub-frames only fit Corbeau seats.
For side mount, the Sparco FIA steel brackets (13876) carry their own FIA approval. Add the Sparco sliding runner kit (14036) or the Endurance Motorsport sliding runner kit (21512) for fore-aft adjustment.

Harnesses
Harnesses need a roll cage or harness barA 4-point, 5-point or 6-point harness with separate shoulder straps needs proper attachment points above and behind the seat. Fit a roll cage or a properly engineered harness bar before using anything above a 3-point belt.
The TRS Clubman 3-point bolt-in at £96.00 and 4-point clip-in at £120.00 both use the standard seat belt anchor points and do not need a cage. For 4-point competition use, the TRS Magnum 4-point FIA at £246.00 and the Takata Drift II at £274.80 are the step up.

Common questions
Does this fit the 1999-2002 facelift?
Yes, the Sparco sub-frame listing confirms the same chassis carries through to the 1999-2002 facelift. If your car is from that period, confirm the exact chassis with us before ordering.
Does the Ford Puma use the same sub-frame?
The OMP sub-frame does, since the Puma is built on the same Mk4 Fiesta floor and shares the HC793-2669 part number. Sparco and Corbeau list their frames specifically for the Fiesta; check with us if you have a Puma and want to use one of those instead.
Is the roll cage suitable for competition?
Depends which one. The Safety Devices bolt-in cage is Road and Track approved but not homologated for motorsport. The Custom Cages weld-in kit carries FIA and MSA approval and is the one to choose for competition use.
Can I run a 6-point harness without a roll cage?
No. A 6-point harness needs anchor points above and behind the seat for the shoulder straps. Fit a roll cage or a properly engineered harness bar first. A 3-point bolt-in harness uses the standard seat belt anchor points and does not need a cage.
