OMP, Sparco, Corbeau and Recaro all confirm a fitting frame for the Polo Mk4 (9N/9N3). Cobra listed a frame for this car in the past, but that listing is now dead, so a Cobra seat needs a side mount bracket on one of the other frames instead.
The roll cage range is thinner on this generation than on the Mk3: Custom Cages’ three 9N-specific listings are now either dead or showing a zero price, leaving the OMP Multipoint Weld In as the one confirmed cage.

OMP confirm a direct fit frame for the Polo Mk4 (9N3) at £137.30. Sparco offer one at £99.00, Corbeau at £245 and Recaro at £296.10. All bolt to the factory floor mounting points. Cobra listed a frame for this car in the past, but that listing is no longer live, so a Cobra seat needs a Sparco FIA Steel Side Mount Bracket fitted to the OMP or Sparco frame instead.

The OMP Champ-R at £381.60 and the Sparco Rev QRT at £414.00 sit in the middle, and the Sabelt GT3 at £517.20 sits above them. Harnesses
There is no harness made specifically for the Polo Mk4, so you are fitting a universal belt and working out the mounting yourself. The standard rear seat belt mounts are not rated for harness shoulder strap loads, so the cage below, a bolt-in harness bar, or a fabricated anchor point is needed.
The Schroth Profi 3×2 at £444.01 and the TRS Magnum 6 Point Superlite at £245 are both FIA 8853-2016. The TRS Magnum 4 Point at £246.00 is FIA 8854-1998. All three carry a stamped expiry date regardless of wear. For a road or trackday car, the Takata Drift II and III and the TRS Clubman belts cost less, though none of those four are HANS compatible.

Roll cages
Custom Cages listed a T45 kit and a CDS kit for the 9N in the past, but both are now showing a zero price and their Clubman kit is a dead listing, so none of the three are currently orderable. OMP’s Multipoint Weld In cage at £1,941.56 is the one cage confirmed live for this generation.
If competing, check the specification against your class regulations before ordering, and keep the sign-off paperwork with the logbook. Pad any tube within reach of a helmet, and tell your insurer, because a cage is a notifiable modification.
