A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series, J80 chassis, 1990 to 1997. Part number SB263.

The 80 Series is the one a lot of people consider the high point of the Land Cruiser: solid axles front and rear, coil sprung, and available with triple locking differentials. That specification is why they are still crossing continents thirty years on and why good ones now cost real money.

Which changes what you should buy

These are expedition vehicles, not track cars, and the seat that suits one is not a hard racing shell. You may be in it for eight hours on corrugated gravel. Ask us about the more heavily padded options, and about neoprene rather than velour, because dust and water get everywhere in an 80 and fabric never recovers.
