The Toyota Celica (94-99) story...
In October 1993, Toyota launched the sixth-generation Celica for the 1994 model year. The styling of the new Celicas was acclaimed by most publications as “Supra-esque” with four round headlights and also had a visual resemblance to the Soarer introduced in 1991.
Once you start using your Toyota Celica for fast road and track use, you’ll soon realize just how much you need new bucket seats to provide more support.Â
On cornering, you may find your self holding onto the steering wheel tighter than usual, tensing your thighs and legs against the central console and/or door card. You’ll probably find your weight shifting in the seat and having to re-position your self after the corner.Â
None of this is correct. Your seat should provide the right level of support so that you can grip the steering wheel only for steering, your legs should be supported and your weight shouldn’t shift around. The recommendations we provide are to ensure that you feel comfortable and supported allowing you to focus on the job at hand.Â

We recommend using our frames we recommend with side mounts to successfully install the side mounted bucket seats we suggest in our guide. Our Planted Technology Frame will be able to fit any seat we recommend in our guide. We have two OMP frames for specific Toyota Celica models including the (ST & GT), we recommend only using these two OMP frames for those specific car models.Â
