The SW Motorsports Renault Megane Mk3 RS250 Seat Side Mounts, part SWS-Megane-Mk3-SM, fit the Megane Mk3 RS floor and provide a driver or passenger side mounting point for bucket seats. A two-pair bundle is in the range (SWS-Megane-Mk3-SM-X2, £180) if you are fitting both positions at the same time.

The Megane RS250 ran from 2009 to 2012 as the base specification of the Mk3 Megane RS family, with the Cup and Cup chassis variants sitting above it. All share the same floor. The RS250 was a popular car for time attack and fast road use; the front-mounted 2.0 turbo made the car nose-heavy in standard form, and removing the substantial standard front seats was one of the first changes on most RS track builds.

For the Mk3 RS, a Super Low direct-fit subframe is also in the range (SWS-Megane-Mk3-Super-Low, £115). The choice between side mounts and subframe is determined by your seat: if the seat is drilled for side mounting, these brackets are the correct path. If the seat uses only Sparco bottom-mount holes, the Super Low subframe is the right option for this car.

The side mounts are steel, sold per seat position, at £100 each. If you are converting both seats, the two-pair bundle saves a separate order and ensures both arrive together.

SW Motorsports seat mounts are produced in batches and we take deliveries weekly, so those are generally available for quick dispatch.

Their roll cages are a different matter. Each one is made to order here in the UK, and production currently takes 6 to 8 weeks from the day you order.

Made to order means our special order and roll cage cancellation terms apply once production starts. Tell us the car and the class you run in, and we will confirm the specification and the current lead time first.
