The SW Motorsports Ford Fiesta Mk6 Direct Fit Subframe, part SWS-Ford-Fiesta-Mk6, covers the Mk6 Fiesta from 2002 to 2008 and accepts a Sparco-pattern bucket seat at the standard 345mm bolt spacing. It is sold per seat position: one subframe for one seat.
The Mk6 Fiesta is the generation immediately before the Mk7 redesign that arrived in 2008. The ST150 version, with 150bhp from the Duratec-ST engine, was the standard track day and budget motorsport choice of its era. It competed in multiple club series and remained in active circuit use for years after the Mk7 arrived, principally because ST150s could be bought cheaply and were mechanically simple. The floor geometry on the Mk6 is entirely different from the Mk7; the Mk7 subframe (SWS-Ford-Fiesta-Mk7) does not fit this car and vice versa.
The subframe removes the standard runners and bolts to the existing Mk6 floor mounting points with no modification required on a standard floor. Removing the standard seat and runners from an ST150 accounts for a useful fraction of the weight on a car that already came in under 1,100kg.
If you are unsure whether your Fiesta is a Mk6 or an adjacent generation: the Mk6 ran from 2002 to 2008. The facelifted version that arrived around 2005 is sometimes called the Mk6.5 but uses the same floor and is covered by this subframe. Anything from 2008 onwards is a Mk7 and needs the Mk7 part.
