One warning first
A hybrid carries high voltage cabling and there is a great deal of low voltage wiring under the seats. If you are not entirely certain what runs where, have the work done by someone who is.
The XW30 is the private hire car
This generation is the one that filled British minicab fleets, and it is why so many are still running with enormous mileages. Toyota built them to survive that and largely succeeded, though the driver’s seat rarely does.
That is the honest reason most of these brackets get bought. If it is yours, ask us about padded options or a reclining seat rather than a fixed racing bucket, because a hard shell over a twelve hour shift is genuinely miserable.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
