A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Toyota Corolla GTS, 1985 to 1987. Part number SB021.
The AE86. Rear wheel drive, light, and the car an entire drift culture was built on. In Japan it is the Levin and the Trueno; GTS is the North American name for the same thing.
Values have gone somewhere absurd
Which changes how this should be done entirely. A tidy AE86 is now worth more than most people would have believed twenty years ago, and originality counts.
The bracket picks up the factory mounting points so nothing is cut. Store the original seats and every fixing somewhere dry and label them, because an AE86 with an interior that can be put back is worth real money.
Weight is the point of the car
An AE86 weighs very little and that is the whole basis of how it drives. A heavy steel framed shell gives back a genuinely significant slice of it. Ask us about the lighter GRP and composite options rather than defaulting to the cheapest steel seat, because on this car the maths actually matters.
These rust. Get the carpet up before you spend. Handed, so order twice for a pair.
