A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Toyota Land Cruiser 78 Series two door troop carrier and 79 Series two door pickup, 1999 onwards. Part number SB349.

Both body styles on one bracket, because they share the same cab floor.

Which sets them apart from everything else in the Land Cruiser range here. Toyota have produced the 70 Series continuously since 1984 and still sell it in Australia and Africa. This is not a bracket for a restoration project, it is for a working vehicle that will do another twenty years.

Which changes what you should buy

If the vehicle is going to be used hard for a long time, the seat has to survive it. Ask us about neoprene trimmed shells rather than velour, because dust, water and daily use will destroy fabric and neoprene can be washed.

And ask about padding, because a hard racing shell is the wrong choice for eight hours of corrugation.

Get the mat up and check the metal round the mounting points before you spend.
