Planted Technology seat spacers, in 1 inch, 1.5 inch or 2 inch. Part number PSS.
A spacer goes between the bracket and the seat and raises it. That sounds like the opposite of what a bucket seat installation is for, and for most people it is, but there are two situations where it is exactly what you need.
When you want one
The first is visibility. Fit a bucket seat as low as it will go and a shorter driver can end up looking at the top of the dashboard rather than over it. A spacer puts back a controlled, known amount of height rather than shimming with whatever is to hand.
The second is angle. Spacing one end and not the other changes the rake of the cushion, which is how you fix a seat that tips you forward or leaves your thighs unsupported. That is a common complaint after fitting a fixed back shell and it is usually solvable with a few millimetres in the right place.
Choose the height
1 inch, 1.5 inch or 2 inch at the top of the page. Measure before you order rather than guessing: sit in the car with the seat propped where you want it and take the gap.
Specification
Steel, black powder coat, bolt in.
Any change to seat height moves your shoulder line, so reset harness anchor points afterwards.
