A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Plymouth Barracuda, 1970 to 1974. Part number SB221.

The E-body. The 1964 to 1966 first generation takes SB352 and shares nothing but the name.

The Hemi Cuda convertible

Plymouth built fourteen of them across 1970 and 1971, and they are among the most valuable American cars in existence. Even an ordinary 1970 Cuda in good condition is worth real money now.

Which is why nobody should be taking a cutting disc to one of these floors. The bracket picks up the factory mounting points so nothing is cut, and the original seats come out whole. Label the fixings and store them somewhere dry.

Watch for clones

A great many Barracudas have been rebuilt as Cuda tribute cars. If you are working on one and are not certain what the shell actually is, the fender tag and the VIN will tell you, and it matters before you spend anything.

Ask us about retro trimmed shells rather than a modern carbon bucket.
