A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Lexus GS 300, first generation, 1993 to 1997. Part number SB265.

The engine is the whole point

The UK and American GS 300 got the naturally aspirated 2JZ-GE. The Japanese Aristo could be had with the twin turbo 2JZ-GTE, which is the Supra engine, and that is why Aristos get imported and GS 300s largely do not.

If you are building one, knowing which engine you have decides a great deal about what the car will do and therefore what seat it deserves.

Giugiaro designed it

Which is why it still looks like nothing else Lexus have made. Original interiors are getting genuinely hard to find, so store what comes out somewhere dry.
