The SE-R
The Sentra SE-R and the Spec V are the versions worth building. They are light, cheap and have a following that has outlived any interest in the ordinary cars.
A Maxima of this era is a different proposition entirely: a big front wheel drive saloon with a VQ35, quick in a straight line and comfortable rather than sharp. Those two want different seats, so tell us which you have.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
