A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Nissan Maxima on the A34 chassis. Part number SB082-4992.

The A34 ran from 2004 to 2008. This is the same bracket as our Sentra and Maxima listing under SB082, listed separately here so that a Maxima owner has a page naming their car rather than having to spot it inside a combined title.

What an A34 is

A large front wheel drive saloon with the VQ35, and Nissan marketed it as a four door sports car, which was optimistic but not entirely unfounded. It is quick in a straight line and it puts a great deal of torque through the front wheels.

That is where the seat comes in. In a front wheel drive car with this much torque, a driver bracing against the seat with their arms is not steering cleanly, and on a car that already pulls at the wheel under power that costs you.
