The low version of the standard bracket, SB050. The 240SX is the North American S13 and S14, which here are the 200SX of the same period.
Why low, specifically for drift
Two reasons, and both are practical rather than preference. Headroom once a helmet goes on, and where your shoulders sit relative to the wheel.
Sitting lower puts your arms in a better position to wind on and catch large amounts of lock quickly, which is most of what you are doing when the car is sideways. A high seating position works against you the moment you need a full turn of opposite lock in a hurry.
