A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Mitsubishi Evo 7. Part number SB049.
This is the base part for the CT9A cars. The Evo 7, 8 and 9 all sit on that chassis and share one design, which is why the Evo 8 and the Evo 9 carry suffixed versions of this number. The Evo 10 is CZ4A and takes SB014 instead.
What is specific to the 7
It is the first Evo on the CT9A platform and the first with Active Yaw Control as standard on the GSR. It is also the last Evo before Mitsubishi started officially importing them here, which means most 7s in this country are private imports with Japanese specifications.
Send us the chassis number rather than the registration if yours is an import, because the interiors varied.
The Recaros
Standard on most Evo 7s and part of what the car is worth. Values have moved a long way. Store them properly, and note a factory Recaro will not bolt to standard side mounts.
