The Cybul stock seat lowering kit lowers the original Mazda MX-5 Mk4 (ND) seat by 30mm. It is fitting hardware for the existing seat, not a replacement bucket seat. Cybul lists compatibility with the original regular and Recaro seats, fore/aft position adjustment and installation without cutting the seat frame.

Choose the correct RHD driver or passenger side. Fitting both seats requires the appropriate kit for each side.

Fitting guidance

Our supplied Cybul fitting frames do not come with printed assembly instructions, and we do not have an instruction sheet to send for this kit. If you need help with a particular part of the installation, tell us the exact kit and the step you are unsure about so we can check the available technical information. A qualified installer should assess the complete installation.

What do I need to fit it to my car?
The car-specific frame for your vehicle, plus a sliding runner if you want fore-and-aft adjustment. Our guide on base mount versus side mount walks through the whole stack, and tell us your car and we will quote the full kit.

How do I know it will feel right, not just fit on paper?
Makers publish widths and weights, never feel, and two seats with identical numbers can feel nothing alike. We keep the ranges on display in the showroom, you are welcome to come and sit in them, and our head support measurements guide shows the kind of real-world data we collect.
