We list the Passat without a generation number because this frame covers multiple years. Passats from the B3 through to the B6 share enough of the same floor layout that one part fits a wide span, but the wiring under the seat changes substantially between generations. The older cars are straightforward; the B6 onwards runs airbag and occupancy sensor wiring through the seat that triggers dashboard warnings if disconnected without the right resistors.
Send us the year before ordering and we will confirm which generation your car is and what removing the standard seat involves. It takes a minute and it means nothing surprises you after delivery.
