Cobra built this frame for the Nogaro, and it is supplied with 405mm sliders to suit the Nogaro’s side mounts. Frame, mounts and seat are a designed set rather than three parts that happen to fit together, which is why it costs a little more than the standard car frames.
That matters when you are choosing. If you are fitting a Nogaro, everything lines up as intended and there is nothing to work out. If you are fitting something else, it becomes a cross compatible arrangement rather than a designed one, and modifications may be needed. Tell us the seat before you order and we will be straight with you about it.
Two bolt patterns
The frame carries both 291mm x 330mm and 405mm x 330mm. The narrower pattern is for a fixed back seat on a base mount; the wider one is for a reclining seat. So the frame covers both routes, and which you use depends on the seat rather than on the car.
Measure the mounting holes on the underside of your seat and tell us the figure if you are unsure. It takes a minute and it removes the only real risk in this purchase.
The sliders are included
The 405mm sliders come with the frame. Sparco, Planted, OMP, Recaro and Corbeau all sell runners separately, so compare the complete cost rather than the frame price.
