Two Planted Technology seat spacers, quarter inch. Part number PSP.25-X2.
A pair of quarter inch spacers for fine tuning the height or angle of a seat installation. Sold in twos because that is how they are normally used, one per side or one per pair of mounting points.
What they are for
Sometimes the seat ends up a fraction too low, or sits at an angle you cannot live with once you are actually in the car. A quarter inch does not sound like much and it is often exactly what is needed. Stacking them lets you build up more.
A word on stacking
Every spacer you add puts more bending load on the mounting bolts, and there is a point past which you are compromising the installation rather than adjusting it. If you find yourself needing a large stack, the answer is usually a different bracket height or different side mounts rather than more spacers. Tell us what you are trying to achieve and we will say whether spacers are the right fix.
Longer bolts may be needed once spacers go in, because the original fixings will no longer reach far enough into the thread. Ask us if you are not sure.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
Is this for the driver or passenger side?
Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.
