The SW0020_E-X2 contains two QMS BMW E46/E36 FIA black steel platforms, one for each seat, at £110.00. Two separate SW0020_E orders would cost the same; the twin listing is for ordering both in one transaction.

Each platform is the same product as the single SW0020_E: a flat steel base that bolts to the BMW factory floor mounting points, with a large hole grid for fore-aft and left-to-right seat positioning. FIA approved, black powder coat, designed to allow the seat to be centred behind the steering wheel on the E36 and E46 where the factory position is slightly offset.

Covers BMW E36 or BMW E46 as separate variations. For a full two-seat installation in either model, both variations are needed. If only one seat is being fitted, the single SW0020_E is the correct order.

For the aluminium mount approach instead, the SW0019 at £95.00 is the alternative for E36/E46 use. This frame is made for the BMW E36, BMW E46. Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.

Which seats does it take?
Check the bolt pattern in the specification against your seat. If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on QMS frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

The rest come through distribution

Anything we are not holding is ordered in for you, which usually means 7 to 10 working days.
