Direct fit subframes for the Volkswagen Golf Mk1, picking up the standard seat mounting points, with nothing drilled.
A change you can undo
Nothing is drilled and nothing is cut. The frame uses the holes the factory put in the floor, so if the car is ever returned to standard the original seats go back on the original mounts and there is no evidence you were there.
On an early Golf that matters more than it does on a modern car. Values have moved, and a modification that leaves no trace is worth more than one that does.
Look at the floor while the seat is out
The metal around the seat mounts is the part you never see, and on a car of this age it is worth a proper inspection rather than a glance. Far easier to sort then than with a new seat bolted on top of it.
What is in the box
Base frame and sliding runner, in the price. Sparco, Planted, OMP, Recaro and Corbeau all sell the runner separately, so add it to their quotes before comparing.
Which seats fit
Base mountable bucket seats and reclining sport seats from the Cobra range, with a 291mm or 405mm wide handle. Not a side mounted seat unless you add adaption bars or side mounts.
Tell us the seat in the comments box at checkout. Priced per frame, which fits one seat.
