Toyota Supra Mk4 (A80) bucket seat guide
A80/JZA80, 1993 to 2002
The A80 is the 2JZ-powered Supra most people picture, and the aftermarket has kept pace with it. Two fitting frames are confirmed, and Custom Cages make two roll cages specifically for this generation, so a proper competition build is a straightforward order rather than a search for parts that fit.
The Planted bracket is base mount. From there the seat you choose decides whether side mounts get added.

The fitting frame
Planted Technology confirm a bracket for 1993 to 1998 at £224.95, base mount. M2 offer a direct fit subframe at £166.20, also confirmed for the JZA80. Both bolt to the factory floor mounting points. Most bucket seats on this page are side mount, so a set of side mounts on top of either frame is the usual route.

FIA competition bucket seats
Every seat here carries FIA 8855-1999 homologation. The Cobra Monaco Pro at £282.00 is the cheapest FIA shell. The OMP Champ-R at £381.60 the Mirco GT 3D Fabric at £324 and the Mirco RS2 3D at £425.40 sit in the middle of the range. The Sparco Evo QRT at £570.00 the Sparco Evo L QRT at £612.00 and the Cobra Nogaro Club Sport at £629.00 sit toward the top.

Reclining sport seats
For an A80 doing road miles, a reclining seat on the frame keeps the backrest adjustment. The Sparco R100 Martini Racing at £349.99 and the R500 Sky at £349.00 both fix to a base mount frame with nothing added. The Cobra Daytona at £599.00 and the Cobra Misano Anniversary at £1,649.00 are premium single-seat options, and three Corbeau pairs, the SVR Vinyl, Sportline RRB and Sportline RRS, work out around half their pair price per seat.

Harnesses
There is no harness made specifically for the A80, so you are fitting a universal belt and working out the mounting yourself. The standard rear seat belt mounts are not rated for harness shoulder strap loads, so one of the cages below, a bolt-in harness bar, or a fabricated anchor point is needed.
The Schroth Profi 3×2 at £370 and the TRS Magnum 6 Point Superlite at £294.00 are both FIA 8853-2016. The TRS Magnum 4 Point at £139 is FIA 8854-1998. All three carry a stamped expiry date regardless of wear. For a road or trackday car, the Takata Drift II and III and the TRS Clubman belts cost less, though none of those four are HANS compatible.

Roll cages
Custom Cages build two roll cages specifically for the MK4: a T45 kit at £1,260.00 and a CDS kit at £969.60. The T45 tube gives a stronger, lighter cage for the same points, which is the usual trade-off between the two materials.
If competing, check the specification against your class regulations before ordering, and keep the sign-off paperwork with the logbook. Pad any tube within reach of a helmet, and tell your insurer, because a cage is a notifiable modification.

Which frame does the A80 need?
Two are confirmed: the Planted bracket at £224.95, for 1993 to 1998, and the M2 JZA80 direct fit subframe at £166.20. Both are base mount and bolt to the factory floor mounting points.
Is this the same chassis as the earlier A70 Supra?
No. The A70, 1986 to 1992, is the earlier wedge-shaped generation and has its own guide with a different confirmed bracket. The A80 is 1993 to 2002 with the 2JZ engine.
