The A70 is the wedge-shaped Supra, the generation before the Mk4 A80 that most people picture when they hear the name. Planted Technology confirm a bracket for it, base mount, and from there the seat you choose decides whether side mounts get added.
Unlike the A80 that followed it, there is currently no roll cage confirmed specifically for the A70 in the catalogue. We are not going to point you at an A80 cage on the strength of the model name matching, since the two are different chassis.

The fitting bracket
Planted Technology confirm a bracket for the A70, 1986 to 1992, at £222.60 per seat, base mount. It bolts to the factory floor mounting points. Most bucket seats on this page are side mount, so a set of side mounts on top of the bracket is the usual route.

Reclining sport seats

Harnesses
There is no harness made specifically for the A70, so you are fitting a universal belt and working out the mounting yourself. The standard rear seat belt mounts are not rated for harness shoulder strap loads, so a bolt-in harness bar or a fabricated anchor point is needed, since no cage is currently confirmed for this generation.
The Schroth Profi 3×2 at £370 and the TRS Magnum 6 Point Superlite at £294.00 are both FIA 8853-2016. The TRS Magnum 4 Point at £139 is FIA 8854-1998. All three carry a stamped expiry date regardless of wear. For a road or trackday car, the Takata Drift II and III and the TRS Clubman belts cost less, though none of those four are HANS compatible.

Roll cages
No roll cage is currently confirmed specifically for the A70. The Custom Cages, M2 and JP products listed under the Supra name in the catalogue are all built for the later A80 Mk4, 1993 to 2002, which is a different chassis, and we are not going to sell you one on the strength of the model name matching. If you need a cage for the A70, ask us and we will check with the cage makers whether anything is planned for it, or whether a custom build is the only route.

No. The A70 is the earlier, wedge-shaped generation, 1986 to 1992. The A80, the car with the 2JZ engine most people picture, is 1993 to 2002 and has its own fitting bracket and cages.

The Cobra Nogaro Club Sport is listed for over 6ft. Most others on this page are under 6ft or not specified.
Which harness should I buy?
