Tillett B6 XL Screamer Unboxed In-Store
We have recently received a Tillett B6 Xl Screamer Carbon bucket seat at our showroom which is being quality checked and ready to be dispatched immediately. These are special order seats for us, so it’s nice to photograph them as they come through the showroom for our customers. This Carbon lightweight bucket seat looks stunning and provides a seriously generous internal capacity for larger drivers. The B6 XL Screamer we have on our display can be viewed and tested in-store and is available for immediate dispatch or collection from our showroom.

View The Tillett B6 XL Screamer Seat
This specific Tillett seat is FIA approved so it can be used for all motorsport events. The B6 Screamer is a direct replacement for the ever-so-popular B6F, the new design process makes the B6 Screamer even stronger than before with a 20% weight reduction without compromising the strength. With an ultralight shell weighing from 5.8kg. The rear of the seat has been designed with the tighter cockpit in mind as well as being aesthetically pleasing. The seat as standard comes with a dynamic suede headrest.
Tillett B6 XL Screamer Driver Profile
The Tillett B6 XL Screamer is 3cm wider than the standard version making it suitable for bigger drivers. The driver we used in the images below has a 34-36 inch waist and is 5FT 11 inches tall. The driver still had some space around the sides of their hips and had plenty of space between their shoulders and harness slots, this is important to allow harnesses to fit correctly over the driver’s shoulders. We don’t recommend drivers with tall torsos as this seat has a short back, this will allow you to get enough contact at the back of your head against the head support.Â

Newest Additions To Our Tillett Collection
In 2022 high and low back Tillett bucket seats became available on our online store. Tillett released the new B8 seat range which includes a fibreglass and a Carbon fibre version for drivers who may require more drastic weight saving for more competitive motorsport events.Â
The B8 holds the driver at an angle which will suit regular production sports cars. It is ideal for attaining great feel from the chassis, and providing the driver with a perfect driving position for road or track. The strong and rigid twin skin construction, is extremely light and compact, it is especially good for taller drivers wishing to lower themselves, without sacrificing any comfort on long journeys. Drivers weighing up to approximately 120 kg, are well supported in the B8 with little or no padding.
Our Top Selling Tillett Bucket Seats...
The belt holes on the B6 Screamer Tillett seatsare now positioned higher for taller drivers. The rear of the seat has a new design which is more compact to avoid roll bars and better looking. Importantly the weight is now 20% lighter than the B6F as this seat uses our brand new molding system which creates seats of superior strength. The Screamer can be used quite comfortably without any padding, meaning that you can achieve a lower driving position than most other seats on the market.
