A Sparco direct fit sub-frame for the Alfa Romeo 156, for cars made from January 1998 onward. Part number 004990010.
That date matters. Sub-frames are cut to the floor mounting points of a specific production run, so a frame for a later car will not necessarily line up on an earlier one. If your 156 is an early build or you are not certain of the date, send us the registration before you order and we will check it rather than guess.
What it fits
Base mount seats on the 345mm by 271mm pattern. Sparco, OMP and Corbeau base mount seats all use that spacing. Older copy on this range said the frames only suit seats of the same brand, and that has never been right for this pattern. Go by the compatible seats list on this page.
A side mount competition shell will not bolt to the frame on its own. It needs side mounts or adaption bars on top.

Priced per frame, one frame per seat, and the frames are handed. Choose RHD driver or RHD passenger at the top of the page, and add the item twice if you want both sides.
Tell us the seat when you order. Depending on the car, a sub-frame in this range is either a complete replacement frame or a set of adaption bars that fit to what is already there. The photograph is illustrative. We confirm which one your car takes before it ships.

Will this fit my car?
This frame is made for the Alfa Romeo 156. Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.
Which seats does it take?
It takes seats drilled 345mm x 271mm (the Sparco and OMP seat pattern). The Compatible seats tab above lists what bolts straight on. If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.
Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
