Read the year question first. The 911 has run for sixty years across generations that share a name and very little else, and the floor mounting points are not the same across them. Before you order this, send us the registration or the model year and we will confirm the frame is cut for your car. We would much rather answer that than have a frame arrive that does not line up.
Keep the originals
On a 911 the seats are worth money and they are worth keeping. A direct fit frame is a reversible installation: the factory seats and their runners come out intact and go back in when you sell the car or when it goes to a show. Fabricating brackets and drilling the floor is not reversible, and on this car that is a real cost.

Steel, on the 345mm by 271mm base mount pattern, taking Sparco, OMP and Corbeau base mount seats.
Side mount shells need side mounts or adaption bars over the frame.
One frame per seat, handed. Choose RHD driver or RHD passenger and order twice for a pair. Tell us the seat when you order, and the year, and we will confirm the whole combination before it ships.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Sparco frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
This is a base-mount frame: the seat bolts down through its base, the simpler stack that suits seats with a flat bottom and keeps the install low-fuss. Our guide on base mount versus side mount explains the whole fitting stack.
