The snap oversteer reputation
Early SW20s earned it, and Toyota revised the suspension twice in response. Whatever you think of the fairness of that, it tells you something useful: this is a mid engined car that changes direction quickly and demands you feel what the back is doing early.
You cannot feel that through a seat you are sliding around in. That is the honest case for a shell in an SW20, more so than in most cars we make brackets for.
Turbo or not
The Japanese turbo cars with the 3S-GTE are the ones being built and imported. Send us the chassis number rather than the registration if yours is an import, because JDM specification differed including in the seats.

Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
