A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Subaru Impreza 2008 to 2011 and the WRX and STI 2008 to 2014. Part number SB020.

Note the two date ranges: Subaru kept the WRX and STI on this floor for three years after the ordinary Impreza moved on. That is why one bracket covers both and why the years differ, so check which car you have rather than assuming.

This generation is the one that gave us the hatchback STI, which divided opinion at the time and is now the one people want. It is also the generation where Subaru put a proper multi link rear end under the car.

Why an Impreza gets seated

On loose surfaces the car moves under you constantly and the standard seat lets you move with it. That is tiring within an hour, and it gets worse once a harness is fitted, because the harness holds you to a seat that is itself shifting.

The STI came with better bolstered seats than the WRX. If yours has them, tell us before you spend.
