What it actually is underneath
A European Toyota Avensis floorpan with a coupe body on it, sold under Toyota’s North American youth brand. That is a genuinely odd combination and it explains why the car handles more tidily than the marketing suggested.
Scion never sold here, so a UK car is an import and the parts supply reflects that. A bolt in bracket that needs no fabrication is worth more on a car like this than the part costs.
The panoramic roof
Most tCs have one, and it costs headroom. If you are tall, or wearing a helmet, that is a real argument for getting properly low rather than perching a seat higher. Tell us your height.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
