The dent resistant panels fool people
Saturn used polymer outer panels over a steel spaceframe, which is why these do not dent in car parks and why a twenty five year old one can look remarkably tidy.
The structure underneath is ordinary steel and it corrodes like anything else. So a shiny, undented Saturn tells you nothing about what is under the seat. Get the carpet up and look at the metal properly before you spend, because a bracket can only feed seat load into sound structure.
Why anyone builds one
They are light, cheap and there is a small autocross following, particularly for the twin cam SC2. Nobody is precious about them, which is exactly the point when you are learning.
Saturn is gone and nobody makes parts, so keep the original seats and store them dry.

This frame is made for the Saturn- All S Series (1991-2002). Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.
