A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Porsche 911, 928, 944, 968, 964 and 993, 1974 to 1998. Part number SB052.

Planted’s own listing, and it covers a remarkable span because Porsche kept a common seat mounting arrangement across both the rear engined cars and the front engined transaxle ones for twenty four years.

From 1998 the water cooled cars move to the SB017 family.

A 944 is a balanced transaxle sports car, a 928 is a V8 grand tourer, a 993 is the last air cooled 911 and worth a great deal. They want quite different seats despite sharing the mounting.

This frame is made for the Porsche 911 / 928 / 944 / 968 / 964 / 993 (1974-1998). Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Is this for the driver or passenger side?
Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.

We bring a batch over roughly every 3 to 5 weeks. Everything in each batch is pre-sold against a customer order, so the sooner your order is in, the sooner it ships.
