The first generation, the F-body sibling of the 1967 to 1969 Camaro, which takes SB036. The two cars share a great deal and still take separate parts here, so order on the badge as well as the year.
What Pontiac did differently
Their own engines, including the 400 and the Ram Air units, rather than Chevrolet’s. That is why parts hunting on a first generation Firebird is a different exercise from doing it on a Camaro, despite the shared body.
Values
A documented Ram Air car is worth serious money and the 1969 Trans Am is in another bracket entirely. Nobody should be cutting one of these floors. The bracket picks up the factory mounting points, so the original seats come out whole and go back in. Label the fixings.
Practical
Sixty year old American floors are rarely original and repair panels are common. Get the carpet up and look before you spend anything.
