The GT-R and everything else
An R33 GT-R is a different car from an R33 GTS-t: four wheel drive, RB26, wider body. Both are worth building and both are appreciating, the GT-R sharply. If yours is a GT-R, the case for keeping the installation reversible is much stronger, because originality is starting to matter on these in a way it did not five years ago.
Why the seat goes early
An R33 is a big, heavy car that carries a lot of speed, and the standard seat is a comfortable coupe seat. Once you are using the chassis properly you are bracing with your arms rather than steering, and on a car with this much grip that costs real time.
