It is a hybrid, so read this first

The CR-Z carries high voltage cabling and a battery pack, plus the usual low voltage wiring under the seats. If you are not entirely certain what runs where, have the work done by someone who is. This is not a car to unbolt and work out afterwards.

What the car is

Honda’s attempt at a sporting hybrid: a two seat coupe with a manual gearbox, which nobody else has tried before or since. It is light, it is not fast, and it has a small and committed following precisely because of that oddity.

People fit shells to them for weight and for support in club events, where being light matters more than being powerful. Because it is light, a heavy steel framed shell gives back a real slice of the advantage, so ask us about the lighter GRP options.

We bring a batch over roughly every 3 to 5 weeks. Everything in each batch is pre-sold against a customer order, so the sooner your order is in, the sooner it ships.
