A PCI Racing sliding sub frame for the Honda Civic of the 2001 to 2005 generation. Part number SM-EM-S1.
Check the chassis code before you order. The part number on this listing is the EM, which is the coupe and saloon of that generation, while the hatchback is the EP and takes a different mount. Our listing title and the part number do not agree with each other on this one, so send us the registration and we will confirm which you need rather than have you guess.
The slider
The seat moves fore and aft after installation. PCI’s S1 slider bolts to the base with four bolts where a conventional slider uses two, which they rate as twice as strong as two bolt mounting.
Why a Civic gets seated
The standard driving position sits you high, and dropping into the car is most of what a proper seat installation buys. A mount designed for the car gets you down on the factory mounting points, where a fabricated bracket usually does not.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from a single piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, gloss black powder coat, grade 10.9 8mm hardware, with five and six point sub belt mounting locations built into the mount.

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
