Complete fitting kit: side mounts included. This frame comes with its own side mounts, so any side mount bucket seat bolts straight to it. You only need the seat and the frame, with no separate side mounts to buy. The slider is built in as well, so no separate runner kit is needed.
A PCI Racing sliding sub frame for the Honda Civic ED, 1988 to 1991. Part number SM-88EF-S1.
ED and EF are chassis codes from the same Honda generation, and the part number here is the 88EF. If your car is a 1990 or 1991, check whether you want the 90EF mount instead: the two cover different parts of the same generation and they are not interchangeable.

The slider
The seat moves fore and aft after installation. PCI’s S1 slider bolts to the base with four bolts where a conventional slider uses two, which they rate as twice as strong as two bolt mounting.
For a dedicated competition car, the adjustable mount for this chassis sits lower, weighs less and is more rigid. In a car this light that is usually the better buy.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from a single piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, gloss black powder coat, grade 10.9 8mm hardware, five and six point sub belt mounting locations built in.
Before you order
Lift the carpet and check the metal round the factory mounting points. On a car of this age that decides whether the installation is worth doing at all.
