A PCI Racing sliding sub frame for the Honda Civic, 1990 to 1991. Part number SM-90EF-S1.
EF is the chassis code and this is a narrow year window. There is a separate mount for the 1988 to 1989 cars of the same generation, so check the year against the listing before you order rather than going by the model name.
The slider
The seat moves fore and aft after installation. PCI’s S1 slider bolts to the base with four bolts where a conventional slider uses two, which they rate as twice as strong as two bolt mounting.
If the car is a dedicated competition car, the adjustable mount for this chassis sits lower, weighs less and is more rigid. In a car this light that is usually the better buy, and we can point you at it.
Check the floor first
Thirty five year old floorpans deserve a look with the carpet up. A mount feeds seat load into the factory mounting points and it can only do that if the metal round them is sound. It is a cheaper problem to find now than after the seats have arrived.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from a single piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, gloss black powder coat, grade 10.9 8mm hardware, five and six point sub belt mounting locations built in.

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
