Complete fitting kit: side mounts included. This frame comes with its own side mounts, so any side mount bucket seat bolts straight to it. You only need the seat and the frame, with no separate side mounts to buy.
The Toyota Soarer Z30 series ran from 1991 to 2000, sold in Japan as a luxury grand touring coupe. The two main engine options were the 1UZ-FE 4.0-litre V8 in the UZZ30 and the 2JZ-GE 3.0-litre straight-six in the JZZ30. Both share the same floor, which is derived from the same platform as the JZA80 Supra. The Soarer arrived in the UK as a grey import in reasonable numbers through the 1990s, and it continues to attract a dedicated following from owners who want the Supra’s chassis in a quieter shape.
These are the M2 Motorsport direct fit sub-frames for the Toyota Soarer, part number M2-21080-0000S. The ‘S’ suffix marks this as the Soarer variant of M2’s Supra Z30 platform rail. The frame replaces the factory runners, bolts to the OEM floor mounting points and requires no drilling. Steel, powder-coated black, 290mm side mount holes. Choose your side and fixing type at the top of the page.
Most Soarer owners fitting bucket seats are running the car on track days or doing an interior build for shows or events. The standard seats are wide and soft in the way GT coupes of the era tend to be, and a bucket seat in this car gives a very different feel: the low position and the narrow shell make the Soarer feel considerably smaller from the inside.
Seats with 290mm side mount holes fit directly: Recaro, OMP, Sparco, Bride, Cobra, Corbeau, Takata, MOMO, D2 and others.
The Supra JZA80 frame is listed at M2 Toyota Supra JZA80 Direct Fit Sub-frames. Fitting both seats? The 2 x M2 Toyota Soarer Direct Fit Sub-frames covers the pair.
