The Subaru Impreza WRX STI moved to the GRB body in 2007, bringing the third generation of the WR Blue hatchback that had defined Subaru’s sporting identity since the mid-1990s. The GRB STI carries the EJ257 2.5-litre turbocharged flat-four at 300bhp through symmetrical all-wheel drive. The chassis is different from the GC8 and GDB generations, with a longer wheelbase and revised floor structure, which is why the seat rail is a separate M2 part number.

These are the M2 Motorsport direct fit sub-frames for the Subaru Impreza GRB, part number M2-2H015-0000. The frame replaces the factory runners and bolts to the OEM floor mounting points without drilling. Steel, powder-coated black, 290mm side mount holes. The GRB ran from 2007 to 2011 in WRX and STI specification. GRB owners in UK club motorsport tend to be in stage rally or track day/sprint use; the STI’s all-wheel-drive system and traction in low-grip conditions makes it a strong club rally car. The standard Recaro seats in the STI are reasonable, but owners running a harness or a cage generally replace them.
