The Integra Type R in DC2 specification (1995-2001) is a naturally aspirated B18C6 engine producing 197bhp at 7900rpm without forced induction. Honda achieved this through high-compression, lightweight valves, precise port geometry, and a redline at 8,600rpm that very few production engines of the period could match. The chassis used independent double-wishbone suspension at all four corners, which Honda developed at the Nürburgring for the Type R specification. Fitting a sports seat to the DC2 is a standard step for track preparation, and the Corbeau sub-frame connects directly to the standard floor fixing points without requiring additional drilling.
The kit works with Corbeau base-mounted bucket seats and reclining sport seats. Side-mounted FIA seats will not work. ±10mm bolt tolerance applies as standard, and no drilling is required in most applications.
