Adaption subframes for the Vauxhall Astra Mk2, also sold as the Kadett, fitting to the car’s original seat mounting points. Part number COB26MBL327.
This one does not include a runner
There are two parts listed for this car, and that is the practical difference between them. The direct fit frame replaces the car’s arrangement and includes a sliding runner. This adaption version works with what is already there and does not.
Neither is better; they answer different situations. What matters is knowing which you are buying, because a seat bolted to an adaption part without a runner is fixed exactly where you put it.
Adding a runner
The Cobra Premium Sliding Runners are the part to add, in a 291mm or 405mm handle width. Measure across the handle on the underside of your seat and tell us the figure so we can send the right one.
Worth doing in the same order. It is a small part that holds up an otherwise finished job.
Which one your car needs
It depends on what is still under the seat, and on whether a previous owner has already been in there. Send us a photograph if you are unsure. It takes us a moment and it is the difference between one order and two.
While the seat is out
Look at the floor around the mounting points. On a car of this age it is worth a proper look rather than a glance, and it is far easier now than with a new seat bolted over the top.
Cobra base mountable buckets and reclining sport seats. Not a side mounted seat without adaption bars or side mounts. Tell us the seat at checkout. Priced per subframe, which fits one seat.
